Why Should I Be Positive? 10 Reasons

A great Post – Thank You Julie Green

Disclaimer: This is a post directed to anyone feeling down. I am not a psychologist or counsellor. I’m only trained by life. I can’t say this will be worth your while. I’m just a 22- year-old who’s gone through some emotional turmoil and hears from people who feel the same; people who aren’t happy in some way, usually because they hate their job or some situation in their life and they don’t always see reason to be positive. This is my shout out to those people to say: Keep going! You’re strong and you’ll get there. Joy can be yours.

Life’s a rollercoaster. Some of us are riding the dips, while others of us are in the air, elated. For others again, it’s like they’re either waiting to get on the ride or their carriage is stuck on one of the lows. And they want to know why. They’re…

365 Project – Day 35 – Black n White

Today I went out into the garden at work to see if there was anything that would catch my eye. I noticed some slates and abandoned clay pipe with ivy growing around and thought they would make a nice series of black and white images – hope I pulled it off…….. so have a wonderful evening 🙂 Love and Peace.

365 Project – Day 28 – Candlelight

A few images by candle light.

I thoroughly enjoyed todays mini project – making star shape light from candles. Created using a small aperture and long exposure (30 secs), ISO 100.  The first image of Yin and Yang reminds me to try to find balance in all things, something I desperately need to do sometimes as I’m ALWAYS busy! The second image I just thought was pretty and the third image I liked because the flame looks like a tulip, there must have been a draft during the exposure. Hope you like them too – Love & Peace 🙂

365 Project – Day 21 – Icicles

As the big freeze continues down our way  icicles are starting to form here and there. They’re just so pretty to look at, I love them.

I thought I’d share with you a few of pictures of the ones that are developing in my garden – I’m hoping they will grow larger:

Love & Peace – Have a beautiful evening 🙂

365 Project – Day 18 – Snow

It has been a snowy old day here in Birmingham; unfortunately I didn’t get out with the camera earlier in the day but did get a couple of shots this evening (the first one being a long exposure – I like that the over exposure makes it seem like daylight). By the time I got out and about the snow had been trodden down, compacted and was just plain dirty looking on the roads so there wasn’t really any pretty scenes that remained unspoilt – Note To Self: Make more effort to get out and about!

Well at least I made a post today – have to admit I have not felt very motivated and it was a struggle to drag my ass out of the nice warm home to take some pictures but determined I am to make 365 posts (wihtout cheating). So now I shall reward myself with a nice hot cup of tea and a snuggle on the sofa with my hubby.  Wishing you a beautiful weekend – Love & Peace x
